I am using the Daily OHLC Study and want to pull the numbers from a daily chart #3 - when I set this up and put the "use this intraday chart to NO" - the numbers do not show up on the chart. If I set the Use this Intraday Day Chart to Yes and refer to Daily Chart #3 - the prior day's low and close are correct, but the open and high are not. Attached is a file with the settings I have used. Would appreciate any suggestions to correct. |

When you say the Open and High are not correct when using the Intraday chart data, are they just slightly off? Or significantly wrong? The settings you have do look correct. Is the Daily #3 chart open and within the same Chartbook? Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users. The Daily #3 Chart is open and within the same Chartbook. I am looking at NQM3 - 1) On the Daily #3 chart, the close is 2784.25 which is in agreement with the CME numbers 2) On all charts the close is 2787.75 3) I took a 1-min chart and set it to daily then looked at the OHLC and they matched to the CME numbers - O=2793.50; H=2811.40; L=2771.00 and Close was 2784.25 when this chart was in Daily mode. When I put this chart back to a 1-min chart, the Close showed up as 2782.75, while all other numbers remained correct. Not sure what's going on, but would like to get it figured out. The instructions say that if you are drawing from another chart the "Use this intraday chart" should be set to NO; however, if I set it that way, the Daily OHLC disappears from the chart completely. Thanks for the assistance |

Attached is the requested file - Chart Number 3 has the Daily OHLC Study. An additional point is that the pivot points have not changed after yesterday's close - they are the same as they were yesterday. Thanks so much for the help - it is very appreciated. |

In continuing to work with the charts, I found that if I used Chart #16 which is a Daily Continuous Contract Chart - NQ# - as the reference on the other charts that the correct numbers do show up for the OHLC and the Pivot Points. Thanks again for the great assistance - very appreciated. Date Time Of Last Edit: 2013-03-26 15:40:34
