Is it possible to install Sierra Chart on both my desktop and laptop and only use one or the other.

I have it on my desktop and am not logged on to that computer - the data though TDAmeritrade and the package is already paid for.

I downloaded it on my laptop and it tells me I do not have any time left - do I have to pay for two packages to have it on both computers?

How can I change the settings to bring up the realtime data on my laptop without having to pay for two packages?

You can install Sierra Chart on as many systems as you require. You can use Sierra Chart on two systems at the same time.

Simply log in to each copy with your Sierra Chart Account Name and Password. Make sure you are logging in with your current Account Name.

Sounds like your logging in with some other Account name you have that is expired.

When I installed the copy on my laptop, I used the same Sierra log in as I use on my desktop.

Do I have to uninstall Sierra and re-install - everytime I try to start the program, it automatically logs in and tells me there is no time left - how can I log in differently?

Under the Data Trade Services - I see the message next to service (TDAmeritrade) - it says not enabled on package.

I use it on my desktop so not sure why it is not working correctly on the laptop

While logged in on the laptop - the Sierra Acct Info and Management page has the correct date that the data will end - however, when I download Sierra and start the program, I get the message that there are 0 days remaining and that more usage time must be purchased.

I am not sure how to log into the program differently as I just downloaded the software again once I made sure the correct dates are reflected in the Account Management info.

Thanks for the help

Just an FYI - I have correctly entered the account and login info for TDAmeritrade so am not sure why it is not being enabled.

You are logging in with the wrong Sierra Chart account. You have two of them. Use this one:

SC: re your post #2 above and the following extract from it,

"You can install Sierra Chart on as many systems as you require. You can use Sierra Chart on two systems at the same time."

Is this comment unique to the account type for the user your were replying two, or does EVERY SC user have the ability to have SC running in two instances simultaneously?

In your particular case you can only use Sierra Chart on one system at a time because your account is through a broker.
