Hi could not entry any orders today in my Sierra charts. I got the massage that I was not connected to the trade service. But all was green in the status field. I re connected and restarted my PC but it did not work. I upgraded to the 957 and it solved the problem. Did you change any thing in 957 that as to do with Transact compared with 955? Regards Outlander

No, there were no changes with connecting to the TransAct trade server.

Although we use what is known as a separate "thread" in recent versions to connect and there were some recent small changes with that. Perhaps that made a difference. But it should not really have.

Sierra Chart will still work with TransAct in the future. We have too many TransAct customers and also if we already support a service using a client-side API component, we will not drop it. We do plan to change how we integrate to TransAct. They offer a client-side FIX interface and we are going to try that.
