I have allready sent a question to Infinity or just use Interactive Brokers and the Sierra Chart data feed for reliable data.
regarding IBhttp://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/InteractiveBrokers.php From our perspective Interactive Brokers is an unnecessary burden to Sierra Chart support. If you plan to use Sierra Chart with Interactive Brokers consider instead using another supported Trading service especially if you plan to trade futures. From our perspective it is pointless to trade CME, ICE and EUREX futures through Interactive Brokers when there are many other good alternatives available. Interactive Brokers needs to adopt the DTC Protocol and implement it 100 percent according to the specifications because the problems with their API must come to an end. No one should have any tolerance of this any longer. Does it work with IB or it does not work? )) I was going to trade E-MINI FUTURES SP500 only. In case that I will select IB as my broker, shall I order API option from them in order to connect Sierra Chart to IB streaming data? Thank you |
