Good afternoon. 1) I have a study I have added to several charts based on the slope of the MACD and resembles a MACD histogram. All that I have done except the last two the color is as expected. The last two the color is darker than the others despite being made in the same way as the ones colored correctly. It is as if the last, the light behind the lens is not turned on. You can tell it is red/green, nut intensity and brightness is way off. 2) I would like to create an alert when the MACD slope from # 1 above turns green on multiple time frames or turns red. All three timeframes are green where the bar before was not, same for red. I know the slope is MACD>MACD[-1] to turn green. Is there a way to access the current bar on timeframe1 (TF1) as well as TF2 and TF3 and by color instead of writing out the formula for each? 3) Is there a basic tutorial for newbies like me? Something like many spreadsheet programs where they guide you through building spreadsheet while showing off some of the major features. Here is a chartbook. Next you add a chart. Modify it like this. Copy it and change time frames. Link them together. A basic step by step can be as basic, or as advanced as desired, from really basic, to coding ASCIL. Thanks for any thoughts or suggestions |
