I have the "Horizontal Lines Study" in Region 3 of my 1 second charts. In looking at it again, I've seen the problem more specifically. When choosing in the Study: Subgraphs>Draw Style>Line Style. I choose Line and Dash. Originally, when I sent this message, all that was seen was a "Solid" Line. On further inspection, I see that if I have the "Width/Size" more then "1", then it turns into a "Solid" line (obviously from the magnification). So really it doesn't "turn" into a line, it just appears that way. This is different then when I change the width on any other tool regarding line width/size. I would suppose that because its magnifying in a different way then other line/tools. Basically it makes the width/Size button useless because you only get the one size. I've only seen this on this study. Incidentally the "Dot" goes to 3 and you can still tell its a dot. So I imagine the answer is that when magnifying, they will inherently run together. Why then is it different for say a normal "Line" tool? Should the "dashes" be made less wide, so when magnifying, they don't run together? |
