Yes you can definitely do this: can I set up a VPS in Chicago that would run Sierra Charts as a DTC server to hold and route orders, and run Sierra Charts here as a client that I would use as a GUI?
This is a proven configuration which we use ourselves extensively. Separately, is it possible to have a “Master Safety Stop” where if you were long and the market went down to the master safety stop, it would close all open positions and cancel pending orders, regardless of the number of contracts you were long?
