We just talked to the server provider just now. They take the problem very seriously. They are investing in additional network switching hardware and additional server hardware. Costing many tens of thousands of dollars and they will set up another crossconnect to LMAX. We are also going to set up a second server as well. The only point of difficulty is the management of OCO orders. Inherently that is hard to make redundant if the server the orders were placed on has a problem or loses connectivity. But you can always switch to client side managed orders from within Sierra Chart. Although we think that you are still better off using server-side managed orders. No system is ever completely 100 percent reliable. Even exchanges have problems from time to time including LMAX. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support.
