Just now we tested running a second instance of Sierra Chart started with File >> New Instance. We performed a chart scroll operation with the Volume by Price study on the chart and the chart bar spacing set to 0. We moved to the chart fast back and forth which took the CPU usage up to 13%. The main instance of Sierra Chart remained at 0% as we would expect. It was not visible but does have charts open. We would find it incredible, that if anyone runs a similar test, they would notice the CPU usage of one instance of Sierra Chart transfer to another instance. That just simply does not make any sense. And as we said, if that is what is actually happening we have no idea how to even help with something like that. Although if you want us to look at it with remote assistance, we will do that. Maybe there is something we are misunderstanding or maybe we would get some kind of clue which would help us explain it.
