I've been trying to code a new study for this but I'm not sure which volume data to use (Uptick/downtick volume, volume-up/down, or ask/bid volume). I read the technical study for each and I'm still unsure. I'm also trying to figure out why a moving average is being used in the ratio calculation? Do you have any ideas as to calculating certain stock volume ratio? I've been trying to figure this out all day Any advice you can give would be great |
