Ever since v1042 the zig zag will usually not show correct values when the chart is first opened; This is my message to Support from 3 years ago regarding this issue, which is still unresolved no matter what product is used. I use range bars, BTW. I've just learned to live with the bug of having to click "hide study" and then uncheck it and it works fine from there on out: "Hi - downloaded v1042 and the zig zag indicator all of the sudden doesn't work properly. I don't use the lines, but just where it shows the highs and lows for harmonic rotations - in other words, at each rotation it shows the price and the end of the leg and how many ticks. Since the update, when I load SC, it only shows a small handful of rotations. Each time I fire it up, I have to go into STUDIES and click "hide" for zig zag study, click APPLY and then uncheck HIDE and re-click APPLY and it works fine. I have to do this manually for each chart. I noticed on the update log you in fact changed something in that study a week ago - whatever you changed it causing this annoying bug. I've used ZZ study for a LONG time and never had this issue until this last update. Thanks in advance." |
