Hi, I am unsure whether the standard SC list of studies (Studies > Studies Available) changes with each upgrade (?) but with SC 1382 the more simple SS System/Alert study format seems to have changed to the higher complexity included in the System for Trading, was this intentional? I have checked two separate installations of SC and it seems to be the case on both. When you add the Alert/System study the more complex SS with trading abilities is displayed. Refer to the description in the docs below; "The difference between the Spreadsheet System for Trading study as compared to the Spreadsheet System/Alert study, is that the Spreadsheet System for Trading study has much more advanced logic for creating a trading system.... If you just simply want to create a simple System or advanced Alert to give you an indication when your rules return TRUE, then you will want to use the Spreadsheet System/Alert study." https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/doc_SystemsAlerts.php I have a copy of the simple System/Alert sheet but can this be corrected in future SC releases.
