One other thing we would like to mention is that you probably should set up another copy/instance of Sierra Chart on your system. One that you will use for scanning. Here are instructions: Using Multiple Data and Trading Services at the Same Time So if you go over the symbol limit, that will not be a problem and affect real-time data collection on the symbols that you want to watch in real-time. When you are done with the scanning you can use another instance of Sierra Chart to monitor the particular symbols you want to follow in real-time. You will have to disconnect the instance used for scanning from the data feed before you use the other instance unless you were to pay for 2 real-time connections.
