Hello, Miraculously late last night I did manage to run install directly through Internet Explorer (same way I tried multiple times before). The only possible explanation is that there were some casual system updates waiting to be installed that I was not aware off, and that after installing the updates for some reason I was able to install Sierra. Although it might be very likely, I have no idea and it seem bit strange. It also does not make any sense to me, why I would be unable to terminate the Sierra installer process through the task manager before. Do not get me wrong, from the get go I suspected the problem to be on my side and not with Sierra Charts or its installer, I just wanted to know if you had any experience with it, given I did not find any info on my own (understandably so if it never happened). Fortunately it seems to be solved and I got the Sierra running now. Thank you for the help with this anomaly! |
