Some firewalls or other utilities offer options to view active connections where the data stream usage and current speed is listed for each active connection. Can be done is windows too but I have not seen live usage. Anyway, market data demand is pretty low and you should likely be fine unless you're doing something very extreme. Not sure on bursts but maybe 10-30kb/s per symbol for steady data.
