Right - the keyboard shortcuts work, but the desired functionality involved a mouse click plus a chosen command. There are a few other platforms (Gain and TS) that do this, hence our customers' familiarity with this setup. So I can point the mouse and hold down control and then click the mouse, and that places a buy limit order or stop order at that price, but the platform automatically places the order type that would not result in an immediate fill. For example: hold a + click would be buy market hold s + click could be sell market hold z + click would be a buy order (limit if placed below the market, stop if placed above the market) hold x + click would be a sell order (limit if placed above the market, stop if placed below the market) |
