It seems like Sierra doesn't support TD ameritrade or TD data feed doesn't support Sierra chart. Whoever it is Sierra should clearly mention in their data feed section.So that traders don't have to sweat to find answers from sierra. And as always Sierra doesn't have a practice of giving answer straight forward, rather than drag into a infinite circle. In that prospect I like ninjatrader,who provides plenty of videos for each feature which cuts down a lot of client's frustration. I read in the forum history that Sierra came back with same answer at the end instead of the beginning regarding TD data feed. I am pretty much happy with TD platform. I don't want to spend extra bucks to go with Sierra. Without real time feed in Sierra the feature I find so far astounding is the, MARKET REPLAY which stands out of all the other platforms available in the market. But that doesn't convince me to switch to Sierra. TD data feed is great compared to other brokers . no maintenance and charting fee. For any future I have to spend roughly less or equal to $5.00 round trip per contract. Off course thinkorswim phone support/customer support is thousand times better than Sierra online technical support. Sierra technical support projects less care to support trial runner.My feeling carries long way because my group of traders (15 traders) have now already turned away from Sierra. At the end I thank Sierra for the great software and letting me use the trial period.
