We had a user today enable the BATS exchange and we discovered there was a few different configuration problems preventing real-time data from being received and sometimes historical data being received for BATS symbols.

To receive the BATS data, it is necessary to use the latest revision of 1251. To get that update with Help >> Download Prerelease.

We are not sure why no one else has pointed out any issue because you would not have been able to get the BATS data after enabling that exchange on your account. If there any problems always let us know promptly.
