Let us know if you continue to have a problem and the particular steps to reproduce the issue. We are not aware of any case where when a spreadsheet is actually saved, it will not be. We will make a change where when a chart is active in a Chartbook and you select File >> Save, any spreadsheets associated with the Chartbook will also be saved.
