Are you using the New Spreadsheets (.scss) ? I have seen some issues with the New Spreadsheets where 'false' in a formula gives spurious results, but 'FALSE' does not. Since 'y' in a cell that's referenced is case-sensitive in the New Spreadsheets, there may be an esoteric problem with certain formula constructions. Unfortunately, I haven't yet confirmed anything repeatable. If there is a TRUE in columns K and M, there should be a corresponding arrow. You might try using another instance with the Old Spreadsheets version, to see if you get different results.
