You really have to go through a process of elimination. In a case like this the best procedure is to save the Chartbook and then go to each chart and close it with File >> Close Active Window to isolate what chart is causing the problem. Or at least see if when you start to close several charts the problem goes away or is greatly reduced. In regards to how much data can be loaded, even 500 days is not too much data to load, once the data is loaded, and if there are no studies on the chart, and the computer is fast. You are in a better position to answer how much data is too much. Experiment with the setting and see what impact it has.
