For a long time now, we have been disappointed with the Notepad ++ text editor we supply with Sierra Chart for editing ACSIL source code files. It has proven to have stability issues at least in the way that we have been using it. It regularly abnormally shuts down and is a huge annoyance and causes lost work. It has been such a problem, it got to a point where it was fearful even using it, just waiting for the next time it would crash. We no longer use it and this is the recommended editor we now use: http://www.jedit.org/ We will look at supplying this one with Sierra Chart as long as it is not too large. Once you install this editor, you can set Sierra Chart to use it through Analysis >> Build Custom Studies DLL >> Select Editor. It is a good full-featured editor.
