I can make no rhyme or reason why this happens. On the windows 8 machine after having to do a couple of hard boots do to freezing the existing charts books ran fine...but I have not enable the SC data feed again yet either. These machines are on all the time so I am not starting up and loading when the problem occurred. Yes I have chartbooks that auto load. On the windows 7 machine I had to resort to not opening any of my typical chartbooks and just build a few charts so I could get to trading for NY open. At the end of the day I will go back and try and open my typical chartbooks and see what happens. I still get a log message (c locale has changed) whenever I chose file>new intraday chart. Why 2 separate machines running different versions of SC would both have trouble like this at the same time is disconcerting Help 30 has loads of "possibles" but I ma running lots of RAM and SSD's with adeqeuate CPU. Day before charts are fine. Absent the ISP "event" you mentioned in another post who knows. I will monitor and report back. |
