I am trying to download the GreenChart issue of Sierra Chart for a GreenChart user, but have run into issues. He is using a Mac with VM Ware as the parallels provider and running Windows 7 on the Windows parallels side. We are using the GreenChart download link and get the download to download. We get through the entire task manager and select Finish and GreenChart should open, but it does not. We then go to the GreenChart symbol that downloaded on the desktop and try to open it, but again it does not open the program at all. No pop up comes up to say why it won't open either. We made sure that he had the current Microsoft distribution package and went to the sierra chart website to use that link to make sure it was the correct Microsoft software being downloaded. We also made sure that GreenChart was added to his Windows firewall as an approved program to connect to. Still not opening at all. Is there a reason that this would happen. In all the downloads I have helped GC users do I have never ran into this issue. He does not have an antivirus on his system that he is aware of. He is connected from a home to a comcast internet connection, so there is no interference there. How can we get this software downloaded for him?
