If anyone out there is still struggling with this, I experimented and put my settings to: Use MDI Window Tabs: Yes Show MDI Window Tabs At (List) Bottom Support Multiple Row for MDI Tabs Yes Show Arrows Before MDI Tabs Yes Since making this change, I haven't seen the problem for several days. So on my system, these settings either make the problem much better or resolve the issue entirely. I can't say why, but it seems to be working. I reproduced this issue on version 2747 64-bit.
