If you are noticing performance issues in Sierra Chart more recently, then this is likely due to wider price ranges and increased trading activity. Although this depends upon the Input settings of the study. Studies that use the Volume at Price data will take longer to calculate and draw. This is one reason why you can notice a performance issue with increased market activity.
You should increase the Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Common Settings >> Common Settings>> Intraday Data Storage Time Unit to 1 Second. Or go to 5 Seconds. Do not care about the inaccuracy. If you have a problem you have no choice but to go to a higher storage unit. For example with crypto currency data on our servers we use 1 Second. Not 1 Tick because it is unmanageable. Sometimes, accuracy has to be reduced.
