Because I dont want to look like a retail trader to these high frequency algos. I notice multiple times, the exact second I enter a position, something pushes the price the other way. I know you're going to say this is unlikely because of how big the market is, but I want to do some testing myself to determine if that's the case. The facts are, algos know where orders are routed from and broker IDs so I'm sure they have built that into their algos to spot retail traders. I would if I were a quant. Im actually trying to open an account at Dorman Trading and plan to use rithmic routing there but in the meantime, while I wait for account approvals, I'd like to try amp+rithmic order routing. My goal is for my trades to look as close to institutional traders as possible. Why would I have issues with rithmic? |
