I open 20 chartbooks in instance #1 and 12 chartbooks in instance #2 at the same time. Instance #2 finishes loading chartbooks before instance #1. The main instance of Sierra Chart was running and was connected to IB TWS. The sub instance was not recognizing that the main instance of Sierra Chart was running. It is possibly happening because instance #1 chartbooks are still loading and instance #2 is not able to connect to instance #1 while this is happening. After instance # 1 chartbooks are loaded, disconnecting instance #2 and reconnecting did not resolve the issue. Instance #2 connection bar remained yellow and kept trying to connect. Version 2749 and other versions after 2717 have the Downloading data % Click here to cancel message box for each chart where as Version 2717 does not when loading charts in instance #1 and #2. Instance #2 connection issue was never a problem in Version 2717. I loaded 1 chartbook in instance # 1 and 1 chartbook in instance #2 and was able to connect from instance #2 to instance #1. Instance #2 connection bar is green. I then loaded the remaining instance #1 and instance #2 chartbooks. Instance #2 connection bar is grayed out during and after chartbook loading. I disconnected instance #2 after all chartbooks were loaded and was able to reconnect. Connection bar turned green. At this time, I don't think any further action needs to be taken by SC.
