It is correct, that if you have the data coming from us, then that "takes precedence" when it comes to where the data is coming from. But there are still handshakes between the systems that involves the symbols. So if you have a symbol that Rithmic does not like it creates a problem for them. As to why exactly - you would need to ask Rithmic. They own that part of the code. We just know that it is a problem and you need to NOT use any symbols that Rithmic does not like.
