Post From: multiple symbols on 1 chart

I am plotting indices (eg UDVR) and there are so many of them (one for each stock index). What i did till now is - use 1 chartbook - create a new chart for each symbol - they all get plotted with my custom study to see the logarithm. I struggled with the log axis, and this works - then I use a particular chart with many price/study overlay to include them all in 1 view. I just wanted to check this is the right approach as I now have so many tabs/charts inside this chartbook that it got messy. I dont know if it affects the performance? So the thoughts I had to improve: - Can I directly bring multiple symbols to 1 chart? This would avoid so many tabs. - Can I hide these tabs cause I dont really want to see them cause I have 1 main page with a chart that has 5 of them visible. - Can I move the "source" charts to another chartbook and leave them there? I imagine this chartbook needs to be open as well but at least they are out of the way then. Just checking for best practise as I have a few more of those to do (eg Tick and others) so I need to repeat this process. and before I get it all set up it is worth checking with the experts. Hope my description of my question is clear. |
