If you change the location of the MDI tabs, does that bring them back? Refer to the following: General Settings Window: Show MDI Tabs At (Global Settings >> General Settings >> Windows >> Window Tabs) And given that you have a lot of charts, also check the setting for "Support Multiple Rows for MDI Tabs" and see if changing this has any impact.
