The only way to do what you want would be to do it backwards from the way you are thinking. You would need to have charts X-D and X-30 set to be a certain link number (say Link #1). Then to change those to a specific symbol you would need to go to one of the charts for the symbol you want and then enable the "Link #1" control bar button for that chart. This will then change X-D and X-30 to be that symbol (and whatever other Link options you have setup for them).
