It depends on what message exactly. If this is the "System Messages" then it is most likely just a generic notice of needing to be on a current release for some reason. But if you are getting a message that states you need to update and the system takes you to the update software, then this would indicate something not right for sone reason. Please let us know exactly what message you are getting and what is states.
