THANK YOU! You know what you're doing. When it's the first the ticker is being loaded it has to have a / in front of it like /IBM, then it can be loaded just by typing /IBM right into the chart. Then if you give it a few seconds it updates and then you can just type in IBM without the flash and it'll work (but if you switch to aapl then ibm again real fast, it won't work, have to give it like 3 seconds to update). I know it's in the documentation somewhere, but man, that was a tough one. Being told to go into all these settings and updating ticker lists and then being told that you can't see all tickers cause there are too many.... and in reality you just need to know to put a slash before the ticker on the first time. I can't imagine how many people uninstalled at that point. It's been like a full day now, and I can FINALLY begin to use this program. That setup was tough. But I think it'll be worth it. Thank you. |
