Post From: Scrolling Chart w/ Hand Tool but losing Level of "Grip"

Hopefully this qualifies for your reconsideration. Thank you. I know this probably has something to do with "Scaling". I like/need to drag/scroll my TPO, Range Bar and other charts very often from a particular price point/level back in time. Very often it is on a horizontal reference line which had been applied in the past (which is precisely why I might want to re-examine the structure from back then). I like to see where it may have intersected the price action in the past at the same level. However, when I reach the limitations of the screen edge and have to release and regrip for the next portion of the dragging (having not yet found any intersection with a "clump" of previous action to re-analyze) the "grip" I had on that particular spot/price level is eventually lost (sometimes immediately, usually after the 2nd or 3rd swipe/drag) as the screen contents "cascade" to another level where price action just DID happen to be at that point in time where I had to release. The "hand" is now many levels away from where I want to be. I have no idea of where my reference is on the chart. Obviously, if I take the time, I can stop and scroll vertically, find my line/ reference, and start again, only to lose it again if I have not come to an "intersection" with previous data interaction. If I was "gripping" a horizontal line, it disappears, because the screen contents is at a totally different level, so it's out of sight at that point. Is there any adjustment so that , for example, if I grip the level of a certain price level/point on a horizontal line, I could scroll back as far as I need to go and still keep the "hand" right on that line and in view until I reach the intersection with past action. ??
