I'm currently going through the list recommended by Sierra chart for performance optimization. One thing I came across was timezone settings. Due to the U.S handling daylight savings at a different date than my own, I decided to simply set my global timezone in Sierra chart to a U.S time, and I picked New York. This has worked fine. My computer clock however is naturally set to the local timezone for practical purposes. Time Zone Setting: Using Different Time Zone in Individual Charts The Time Zone setting in Windows must also be correct. For example, if your computers clock is set to US Eastern time, then the Time Zone setting in Windows needs to be US Eastern.
This seems to imply I need to set my local windows clock to New York time as well. Can you clarify if this is absolutely necessary, or if there's a misunderstanding here? Thanks. |
