If there are no other studies in that region, then setting the Main Price Graph to a scale of "Independent" is no different from setting it to "Automatic". We are not sure exactly why it is changing, but it really does not matter. If there are other studies in that region (Region 1), and you want them to drive the scaling, then you would need to either make that study the "Main Price Graph" or move the Main Price Graph to a different region. What exactly are you wanting to accomplish? We think there is a way to get to what you want, but it doesn't look like using "Independent" is the way to get there.
