Sincere thanks John, Yes that makes sense re the intraday versus historical data retrieval time, explaining faster loading of those higher timeframe charts. I use VWAP standard deviations from the developing weekly (in realtime on my trading chart) so I assume I do need intraday data. It is a continuous futures contract volume based rollover back adjusted chart... 90 days bar period setting, which I occasionally beef up to 365 days to check out some past data. I setup a 2TB NVME drive yesterday and dedicated that to SC alone, just to eliminate disk speed as an issue. Running: CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 7950X 16 cores 32 threads, Memory is DDR5 64 GB running at 6000 mhz, Graphics is Nvidia 4080, Hard drives are all NVME PCI Gen 4 drives, screens are all DELL OLED 32inch 4K |
