Post From: Is there a way to speed up the quantity change across charts that are linked?

If I change the trade quantity (number of contracts) on my chart via the Trade Window attached to the chart, sometimes it will take a full second or two to change that same quantity on all other charts in that chartbook that are linked to that chart. Several times I have been burned when I click on a different quantity (either to exit a trade or add to a trade) and then immediately place an order on the DOM, only for the previous quantity to get executed because the system hasn't updated yet. I try to remember to give it a full second delay, but sometimes forget. I have multiple DOMs up to watch cross-asset flow, in a very particular order, with a very particular size to fit on my monitor, and so just putting the trade window on the DOM is not an option. Is there a way to increase this speed so that it's instant? Chart update interval is currently set to 10ms. Example: - Trade quantity set to 10 contracts. - I go long 10 contracts. - I feel I can tighten my stop and add more contracts. - I set quantity to 3 on the chart trade window. - I immediately place a limit buy order at my previous entry price on the DOM. - I then tighten my stop on the chart. If I don't wait a full second, 10 contracts will place on the DOM instead of the updated value of 3, since the system hasn't registered the change yet. This nearly screwed me today since I was outside of my risk parameters because I thought I was adding 3 and the system added more. Just curious if there's a way to speed up this process. Thank you as always. Date Time Of Last Edit: 2024-09-13 21:51:19
