Account expired or not I should still be able to view historic data which had already been downloaded before the expiry date.
Something has changed in a recent version update, it use to work fine when not connected. Follow the instructions here to clear the Message Log: Message Log: Clearing the Message Log Open a chart for symbol you have data for. You can see the data files through File >> New/Open Historical/Intraday Chart.
