The first answer is that you can not change the width of the price ladder. So how it is showing is what it is. But, we are a bit confused on why you are having it be so wide. We did a couple of setups similar to what you have and we are not able to reproduce the width you are seeing. Attached is basically the same layout as you have, but we do not see the large width you are seeing. Rather, you can see that the width is being driven by the size of the numbers in the study in region 2. Please get us a copy of that chart for us to take a look.
