If you want the real-time data for the CME Group at the non-professional rates, then you do have to have a live, funded, futures brokerage account. And you need to be able to connect your Sierra Chart software to that account at least once a month for verification. This is a requirement of the CME Group. The data acts like real-time data in all respects, except that it is delayed by 10-15 minutes (depending on exchange).
