Update: I was able to narrow it done. There seem to be two things going on: 1: The exception which came up when I was compiling an ASCIL was my mistake as I am using external resources which seems to be problematic when they change and the DLL is unloaded, it works when I manually release the DLLs and recompile. 2: The second exception: Unhandled exception at 0x00007FFCDC4E2583 (explorerframe.dll) in SierraChart.23464.dmp: 0xC0000005: Access violation reading location 0x00007FFCDDDA7C88. comes only up if OpenGL is enabled. I have the latest nvidia drivers installed but i keep getting the error.
