Wise and Revolut aren't money transfer companies, they're full on banks hence setting up a Swift payment is offered. Having said that I've never tried to wire money to a US broker. Yes, banks like HSBC (with the right account) can easily change up FX (at good rates) and wire money around the world. But other UK banks on the High Street love to rip their clients off on the FX. The FX price is the main issue not the wiring. As for Tickmill, why use an offshore broker (I think they're a Cypriot company) when you can use a US broker? UK based brokers might be fine but only if you're doing a lot of business. Stage5 and the other one (I forget) are all setup for small accounts (<$50k). |
