Exactly what options are you selecting? We are a bit confused on when the crashing is occurring.

To get the log, you would need to set the option for "Global Settings >> General Settings >> Log >> Save Message Log to File" to "Yes" in the instance where you are having the problem. Restart the sub-instance to make sure the log is getting saved. Then go through the procedure to cause the crash and then open a File Explorer window and go to the 'Logs' folder under your main Sierra Chart installation folder and find the most recent log that starts with "Message Log...".

Most likely there will not be anything there, as crashes typically do not get logged since they are outside the norm. But if there is a problem with a file, then it could show in the log ahead of time.
