That simply should not occur. Our best guess is that the chart that you think is active is not actually the one active when you select that Control Bar button, and the other chart does NOT have the option for "Chart Trade Mode" enabled. But when you go through the process of selecting "Chart Trade Mode On" you are somehow selecting the correct chart.
