I suppose this will come down to what is a tick to you. I see that to you a tick is what the Chart Settings says it is, not what the exchange does. I disagree. Compressing ticks on the chart is done purely to make thinner products readable. What you cannot dispute, however, is that "Currency Value" is simply wrong. This can be proven very quickly by executing a trade, measuring it from entry to exit, and comparing the Currency Value the tool shows to a statement from the broker. All that needs to be done is for this to be fixed is divide Tick Size from Chart Settings by the Exchange Tick Size to get a "Tick Compression Factor" and multiply Chart Calculator tool results by that factor. |
