so, during the day (normal trading hours) I select ALL BARS,and during the evening hours I select Day/Evening Sessions?
No, you select "Day/Evening Sessions" at all times. Then as long as you are using a Percentage of Maximum to determine your Highest and Lowest values for coloring, then the Maximum value that will be used will be the maximum value for the Day session during the Day session and the maximum value for the Evening session will be from the Evening session.
