While looking into this problem, we discovered a bug we need to fix but unrelated to what you are describing. We see no reason whatsoever that a chart number would get reused. This looks to be completely impossible. And to this very day there has never been any known case of this. We do not believe that this is what is actually happening. There must be some other explanation. An explanation for what is happening though is that these two charts that have chart number 2, are in different Chartbooks and one of them is set to always be visible. Is that the case?
