You have to find someone to chat with. You can search by their Sierra Chart Account Name. On the Chat window, select "Commands >> New Chat" and fill in the field and select the button to find people. Note that there is an option for whether your Account Name is searchable or not. On the Chat window select "Commands >> Settings" and note the top item for "Make my Username Searchable". This needs to be set to "Yes" on the account for someone you want to Chat with in order for you to be able to find and add them to a chat.
